Compound Nouns ( កន្សោមនាម ) គឺជា នាមដែលបង្កើតដោយការ បូកផ្សំគ្នា រវាង [noun + noun] នាម + នាម ឬ [adjective + noun] គុណនាម+ នាម ។ មាន ៣ ទម្រង់ ៖
- open or spaced - space between words (tennis shoe =ស្បែកជើង កីឡាថេនីស) (ដកឃ្លា )
- hyphenated - hyphen between words (six-pack= សាច់ដុំ៦កង់) (ប្រើសញ្ញា - នៅចន្លោះកណ្តាល )
- closed or solid - no space or hyphen between words (bedroom = បន្ទប់គេង ) (សរសេរជាប់គ្នា)
